My great grandfather, Henry PEARSON came to Lemoore with his young family from New Jersey circa 1878/79 and was on the 1880 agricultural census as a farmer of 160 acres. In 1892, he was located at "Township 19 (Lemoore) South Range, 21 East (lower right on plot map between Samuel WALKER and Walter IRWIN. Number 34 area". Now that Tulare Lake is returning, I want to come and see it as my great grandfather might have when he first arrived. He and the family returned to New Jersey circa 1895.
